Signing-in help for invited agents -- if you can't see the rest of the guide, that's because the agent-facing topics only show up after you sign in.

Welcome

Web-Est Chat is the multi-tenant live-chat tool teams use to talk with the people visiting their apps. If you've been invited to join an existing team, the Signing in section below has what you need. If you'd like to know more about the product itself, see the Web-Est Chat overview page.

First steps

Signing in

Web-Est Chat doesn't have an open sign-up — access is granted by invitation. If your team uses Web-Est Chat and you don't have an account yet, ask an existing admin on your team to send you an invite. The invitation email will arrive from no-reply@web-est.com; check spam if it doesn't show up within a few minutes.

You'll receive an invitation email with a one-time link. Click it, pick a password, and you're in. After that, sign in normally at the home page using your email and password.

The sign-in page has two checkboxes worth knowing about:

  • Remember email — pre-fills your email address on this device next time you visit the page. Doesn't sign you in automatically; you still type the password.
  • Keep me signed in for 30 days — extends the auth cookie's lifetime so you don't get logged out overnight. Skip this on shared / public machines.

Forgot your password? Use the Forgot password link on the sign-in page. The reset email arrives within a minute or two. For abuse-protection reasons the page is gated by a CAPTCHA and rate-limited: a second reset request within 5 minutes for the same email is silently held back. Wait it out or check your inbox / spam for the first email.
